ringing in the new year with a dose of public mortification

She was talking about a character from Little House on the Prairie. She meant "Native American."
But what A. actually said (very loudly and at a restaurant) was:
"Remember when that lady said the only good Indian is a dead Indian..."


Welcome to 2011, everybody! It's gonna be a good one.
