at the end of the kids' Christmas list, an apology



Yes the list is quite substantial (they started composing it in September) so the kids know not to expect to receive everything on it.  However, two of their requests are for "santa hats" and "giant candy canes" and that's just so darling I think Santa might just have to make sure to include those.

It appears that the North Pole suffers from the same trade deficit and decline in domestic manufacturing that the US does.

lol! i love it. p-roc is pretty sure he's getting everything on his list (a kung fu panda stuffed animal - no, we have not even seen the movie - markers, and a blanket). but he tells me he's not getting the bey blades stadium that he asked santa for when he sat on his lap at a local restaurant a few days ago, because "that santa had a woman's voice, so it's not the real one". phew, cause bey blade stadiums are big and our apartment is not. :)
