This time, everyone in the family made it out to the beach reunion, even if only for a couple of days.  That means all 35 of us (plus Ellen!), and we have long outgrown a single beachhouse.
So we had two, and they were oceanfront and one had a pool (and a hot tub, and a game room!).  It was my Grandpa's party and that's the way he wanted it and the rest of us managed to cope (somehow).

| these two got along remarkably well together.  hardly any screaming and punching!  (well, relatively speaking...) |

| for the first half of the week, the water was perfect (and the jellyfish were pretty harmless) |

I seriously considered stowing this one away in my suitcase and taking her with me.

| in line for their turn! |
And it wouldn't be a family reunion without dancing, games, good eats and hot tamale candies!

| reunited with Great Uncle Jack!  so much love... |

  |
| could my parents be any happier...? |
  |
| speech, speech!  A big thank you to the (great) grandparents for having us all out to North Carolina! |
