Someone asked me if the news in this post was really that great. :)
First of all, I should say that I made a mistake in my calculations: it is actually more like 13 days on out of every 28 (as opposed to 21 days on of every 28).
Since it is shiftwork, it is hard to really translate this into "normal" terms. Basically, it is about a 50 hour work week (as compared to 75 to 80 now) for six months of paid work. The six months in India is unpaid. So, yeah, we think that's a pretty good deal!
But once the India thing is over (and all the student loans are taken care of), there will be no reason to work more than 8 shifts a month. Right, Jer? Right?
